This is another long lesson. We memorized and tagged them to images from 1.2.5 to 1.5.5 for precise dates followed by names using distinctive features, phone numbers using figurative codes.

Lesson 14
Lesson 14 started with memorization techniques for lesson timetable and historical dates. We are making use of the database 1.1.1 to 1.2.4.
Following the methods, we discussed about some theory on various memorization techniques and the repetition scheme.

Lesson 13
After a long break, I finally started on lesson 13. It looks interesting as we embarks on creating the first data base. We started with creating a four-level support image system with more than 100 images. From the concept it seems quite structured, therefore quite easy to master.
Since it was supposed to be fixed for long term, I had more resolute to learn and to memorize as this is to be My First Database. It was fun.
The lesson ended with the numeration of all the items.
I was really looking forward to the application of this super database.

Lesson 12
I reached the last lesson of the "Intensive Training" course.
The first exercise was memorizing random number strings using figurative codes with "Return Method". Exercise two was memorizing the alphabet figurative codes using "Chain Method". Exercise three was selecting three parts of each alphabet figurative code. These were straight-forward and easy.
Exercise four was memorizing three two-digit numbers onto each alphabet figurative code. This was related to exercise three. Exercise five was memorizing numbers next to the ordinal numbers. Although they sounded complicated, but in actually fact they were quite easy and straight-forward again.
The last task was to read some more theories.

Forex Course
On Tuesday and Wednesday I was attending a forex course. I didn't have time to do regular memorizing, but the train journey to the training centre was sufficient for me to do some memory exercises.
Furthermore, I had the perfect timing to practice and revise the figurative codes on two-digit numbers, alphabet and months.

Lesson 11
As usual the first 3 exercises dealt with additional figurative codes. It was easy as usual as I have memorized all the first 100 codes.
Exercise 4 was similar to lesson 10, memorize a list of 99 words according to the ordinal numbers using the figurative codes. This was also easy when we have a strong base of the figurative codes.
Exercise 5 and 6 touched upon the figurative codes for the months. It was not difficult as well.
This lesson ended with the task to install the "Memorization Master" so that we can practice memorizing the codes on the computer.
So far so good.

Lesson 10
The first 3 exercises dealt with additional figurative codes and the related exercises. I covered those quite quickly as I am always reviewing the codes in my mind whenever I am free from other mind works. Exercise 4 combined the codes with words. It was also easy as I just needed to associate the codes with the words.
The next task was to memorize the figurative codes for the English alphabets. The 26 codes were easy to memorize. It just took some time and those codes are in the brain.
The whole lesson was completed in pretty short time frame.

Lesson 9
Lesson 9 started with a technique called "Return Method". This is a combination of "Chain" method and "memorization onto different image parts" method. It was said that the "Return Method" allows the brain to effectively memorize a sequence of frequently repeated visual images and also helps to avoid the mixture of the images used for memorization.
The first exercise was quite a breeze. The majority of the exercise was covered by the example and explanation. I just needed to continue a bit with my own associations.
The second exercise was about memorizing a string of numbers using the "Return Method" with figurative codes.
Exercise 3 was about memorizing words attached to ordinal numbers. There were altogether 45 items. This is the time to use the figurative codes to memorize the words.
The last 3 exercises were about adding another 10 figurative codes into the memory database.
After completing the control questions, lesson 9 was completed successfully.

Lesson 8
Finally, I managed to start lesson 8 properly today after a long delay due to festive seasons, sickness and other activities like Wei-qi, etc.
The first 6 exercises were easy as they are related to the figurative codes. Spending two solid days reviewing my figurative codes really helped a lot. Recalling the codes has become like second nature with amazing speed. I am proud of myself as you can see. I am very motivated to memorize the codes as I know those will come in handy when I start the second part of the lessons on building our memory database.
The last 4 exercises are related to the next set of figurative codes, 61 to 70. Since I have also covered this earlier in my codes review, I breezed through the exercises as well. I realized that mastering the codes really sped up the execution of the exercises.
Finally after completing the control questions, I completed lesson 8. Now let's move forward onto lesson 9. As tomorrow is the weekend, I have a feeling that I may have to defer this to next Monday.

Figurative Codes
I am still busy revising the figurative codes that I memorized "last" year. It sounded so long ago although it was just last week. The price of resting a while and not practicing is quite big especially when the memory is not yet fixed in the brain yet.
