This morning I managed to complete exercise 3 and 4 using the Cicero method and Free Association method. These two methods have become my favorites so far. Maybe because of the structure, it seems to be easier to use especially the Cicero method.
Next comes the lesson on using figurative codes of two digits. I started memorizing the first 10 two-digit numbers and was about ready to do the exercise/test before my next meeting started. The test has to wait. :-)
After the lunch I continued with memorizing the figurative codes and completed exercise 5 easily. I started to fall in love with these figurative codes.
Exercise 6 involved using the Cicero method to memorize random numbers with the help of the newly memorized figurative codes. It was easy but challenging at the same time. The reason is that the first 10 numbers are represented by many animals. That caused my living room to be filled up with all sorts of animals all over the place. Luckily the Cicero method did not cause any confusion.
The next exercise involves creating images for the remaining two-digit figurative codes. The library supplied colorful picture of the images to help the visualization. It is challenging and interesting. The exercise only calls for the printing of the 10 cards. However, I will start memorizing the images with the numbers whenever I have time during the week.
The last exercise is the best as it is only reading an article on how to increase our result by as much as 30%. I completed the reading and managed to go through the review (or they call it control) questions at the end of the lesson.
See you in 13 hours time. In the mean time, I will keep on practicing to memorize the figurative codes.
